Our B&B hosts welcome you into their homes and take pleasure in making
your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
While each member Bed and Breakfast is unique, you will find that by choosing
an Association member home you are assured of safety, comfort and cleanliness
as well as true Alaskan hospitality. Select your perfect lodging accommodation
in the Anchorage bowl by choosing from older log homes or newer contemporary homes,
from large or small homes, luxurious or modest ones, either in the country or in the city.
History and Operating Philosophy:
The Anchorage Alaska Bed and Breakfast Association (AABBA) has existed since 1987 when
a small group of B&B owners organized to establish standards that would benefit the guest,
the community and the individual hosts. To assure that each member provides quality service
for guests, strict criteria for membership has been developed and includes the following:
- Current Alaska State business license.
- B&B permit with the Municipality of Anchorage
- A scheduled peer inspection to assure that each member B&B maintains the highest standards of sanitation,
maintenance and housekeeping.
