Your hosts Phil Irwin, Manager welcome you: This magnificent federal-style home stands on a working beef cattle farm adjacent to the Shenandoah National Park. It was built of native fields stone in 1812 and is one of two Virginia Bed & Breakfasts on the National Register of Historic Places. The summer kitchen dependency is now the romantic honeymoon suite for two. The second suite has two private bedrooms and one bath. All rooms have air conditioning, working fireplaces, individual heat and view the Skyline Drive atop Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains. A full candlelight breakfast of eggs benedict, smoked salmon, custom omelets, etc. is served at an hour of choice. On farm amenities include a spa, bikes, lawn games, hayrides, VCR, piano, library, porches and patio. Nearby are antiques, wineries, stables, battlefields, canoeing, climbing, golf, tennis, swimming.
