* PLAN YOUR STAY* 

Get the most out of your overnight getaway to Guthrie. Your innkeeper can be a great resource for planning your activities here in town. Most of our innkeepers provide complementary services such as making reservations and securing performance tickets. Special requests like roses, candy, tickets, special diets and much more are a snap when you let your innkeeper know what you're after. Be sure to look over Guthrie's Featured Attractions and if you have any questions, just get in touch with any one of us. We'll be happy to help!

HOLIDAY TIPS

-Making Reservations- 
1) PLAN AHEAD. Keep in mind that most Guthrie Bed & Breakfasts often fill their Friday and Saturday openings as much as four or five weeks in advance, especially in December. If you are looking at a date closer in than that, go ahead and call because openings may still exist, or may have happened recently due to a cancellation. But please try to be flexible and understanding. We want to serve you at least as much as you would like to try us! 

2) STAY ON A WEEK NIGHT. If you can find a day during the week to get away, finding a room with us shouldn't be much of a problem. The great thing about December in Guthrie is that the stores and restaurants stay open later, the Pollard Theatre and UCO Preservation Playhouse have extended schedules, and the whole town is aglow almost every night of the month-long Territorial Christmas Celebration!

3) HAVE AN ALTERNATE DATE READY. Of course we're talking about a calendar date, not who you're bringing! To save you and your prospective innkeeper time, try to have at least two possible dates that would work for you. Your chances of getting one of them are much better. Also, most Bed & Breakfasts featured on this site will gladly refer you to other inns who may have openings on your preferred dates. Just tell them a little about what you're looking for and they'll help you narrow it down.

-Gift Certificates- 
Wow! Great gift idea! All of the inns featured on this site offer gift certificates that are tailor-made for making someone ecstatic on Christmas morning! Most of these certificates can be redeemed by the recipient any time in the following six month period. Just pick out a B&B, get in touch with that innkeeper, and ask for details about their inn's gift certificate program.

-Bed & Breakfast Holiday Tours- 
Can't decide which one suits you best? Here's a wonderful opportunity to actually take a look at each one of the B & B's featured here, only in person! Each year in December and June the members of the Bed & Breakfast Association open up for tours that are considered a treat all on their own.
